i have embarked on a very long journey

The time for anticipation, minimal planning and packing expired. Our send off began with a tasty lunch with Maggie and Jamie, including homemade kraut, hummus, cilantro pesto then dressed and styled with fresh salad vegetables; Such pleasure in departure.

Day two we breakfasted with our niece an hour south. Our journey will be slow and intentional; filled by visits with friends both old and new and family.

We finished up day two with an afternoon and evening with cousins, "niece"and partner.  As we move with the breeze, tagging along with the rising and setting of the sky above us, as the days will surely progress, so will my ability to be in the moment and to be present.
